Upgrading Precision in Dock Leveler Production

Manufacturing quality begins long before a dock leveler reaches final assembly.

As part of our ongoing production process improvement, EVERBESTEN has introduced laser cutting technology into the manufacturing of dock leveler lips, bringing greater precision and consistency to one of the key structural components of the loading dock system.

The new process allows steel plates to be cut directly according to digital production data, providing a more controlled approach to dimensions, profiles, and component preparation before welding and assembly.

From Digital Design to Precision Cutting

The dock leveler lip forms the transition between the platform and the truck bed during loading and unloading. Its manufacturing accuracy is therefore an important part of the overall equipment structure.

With the new laser cutting process, production data is transferred to the CNC-controlled cutting system, allowing each lip plate to be processed according to the required design.

Compared with conventional cutting and preparation methods, laser processing provides cleaner cutting lines and greater dimensional consistency while reducing the amount of secondary finishing required before the next production stage.
